Bathsheba Philpott
Founder & Creative Principal
Bathsheba Philpott is the founder and creative principal of Accessibly Chic Interiors, LLC a Washington, DC-based residential decorating and design practice built on the belief that beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces should feel both elevated and approachable.
A longtime enthusiast of interiors, architecture, and the transformative power of design, Bathsheba brings a discerning eye for creating spaces that are polished, inviting, and deeply personal. Her approach balances beauty with practicality—considering not only how a room looks, but how it feels, functions, and supports the people who live there.
Bathsheba formalized her longstanding passion for design through study at the New York Institute of Art + Design, earning a Certificate in Interior Design in 2019. In 2020, she further advanced her professional training by earning the Residential Interior Design Qualifying Certification (RIDQC) through the Design Society of America.
Through Accessibly Chic Interiors, Bathsheba works collaboratively with clients to reimagine their homes through thoughtful space planning, furniture selection, color, lighting, art, accessories, and styling. Whether refreshing a single room or developing a more comprehensive design vision, her goal is to create spaces that feel sophisticated, comfortable, distinctive, and unmistakably personal.
