Project 04 — Baltimore, MD

Baltimore

Living room with two mustard swivel chairs, a long cream sofa and black drapery under a vaulted white ceiling.

About this project

Built out from bare studs and subfloor, this home lands warm and collected: mustard armchairs and black-draped windows under a vaulted ceiling, a galley kitchen in grey-brown cabinetry with brass hardware and a wall oven, and a bath wrapped in green patterned tile behind glass block. A carved antique bed, kept and honored, anchors the bedroom against sage curtains and a pine barn door.

Kitchen

The kitchen, from open framing to finished galley.

The only photographs of this home before the work are construction-phase phone shots, so the before and after are shown at different scales rather than wiped together.

The kitchen under construction, with a plywood subfloor, open framing and materials stacked against the wall.
Another construction-phase view of the same space, with protective sheeting and unfinished walls.
The finished galley kitchen with grey-brown cabinetry, brass pulls, a white quartz counter, a black faucet and a stainless wall oven.
